Platform Engineer 4

Job summary

The Platform Engineer 4 at Ado*** will collaborate with multiple teams to build, deploy, and support large-scale containerized workload platforms in both private and public cloud environments. The role requires leading platform engineering efforts, troubleshooting complex problems, and integrating various technologies to enhance performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with public cloud platforms, preferably Azure and AWS.
• Over 5 years of experience with Linux and OS deployment.
• More than 5 years in software engineering with programming languages, preferably Python and Go.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes operations.
• Proficiency with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices.
• Understanding of security guidelines and compliance for cloud infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of architectural patterns and tradeoff analysis.
• Ability to manage programming, automation, and testing plans.
• Proficiency in optimizing and refactoring services and infrastructure code.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and influence direction.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and observability techniques.
• Experience with public and private cloud platforms and hybrid architectures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
• Passionate about supporting complex IT systems.
• Ability to mentor and share knowledge.
• Effective time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams to build, deploy, and support containerized workload platforms.

• Support software development teams with container-based solutions.
• Work in an agile operations framework.

• Own full-system builds for platform services.
• Serve as a technical leader for platform initiatives.
