Platform Engineer - AI/ML Infrastructure

Job summary

Deploys and operates AI/ML infrastructure across enterprise Kubernetes environments, including LlamaIndex Cloud and KDB.AI, and builds secure, scalable deployment pipelines. The role covers Kubernetes administration, GitOps with Flux CD or ArgoCD, Helm charts, HashiCorp Vault, CI/CD, and database and middleware operations across development, QA, and production environments.

Qualifications

• At least three years managing production Kubernetes clusters.
• At least two years using Flux CD, ArgoCD, or similar GitOps tools.
• Advanced experience developing and managing Helm charts.
• Hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault and secrets management.
• Experience with Artifactory or similar container registries.
• Strong CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent tools.
• Experience administering PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of database high availability and failover, including PgBouncer and HAProxy.
• Strong Linux or Unix administration and Bash or PowerShell scripting skills.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes networking, Ingress, and Gateway API.
• Experience troubleshooting production infrastructure and application issues.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage AI/ML applications across development, QA, and production environments.
• Automate GitOps workflows using Flux CD, ArgoCD, or similar tools.
• Administer production Kubernetes clusters across multiple environments.
• Configure HashiCorp Vault and ExternalSecrets for secrets management.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent tools.
• Configure OIDC authentication with Microsoft Entra ID in collaboration with the identity management team.
• Create, maintain, and optimize Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests.
• Configure Kubernetes networking, Ingress, and Gateway API components.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Support PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and RabbitMQ infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain database high availability and failover configurations using PgBouncer and HAProxy.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, procedures, runbooks, and reusable patterns.
• Improve platform reliability, automation, scalability, and operational efficiency.
