Job summary
The Platform Engineer designs, automates, and operates secure, reliable cloud-first enterprise platforms, modernizing legacy infrastructure and reducing manual processes. The role supports Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, builds infrastructure-as-code and scripting workflows, manages identity and endpoint services, and improves monitoring and operational reliability. It also integrates SaaS and Power Platform solutions and applies security and governance controls to AI-assisted engineering.

Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience supporting cloud, infrastructure, or enterprise SaaS platforms
- Hands-on experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and hybrid environments
- Experience with identity management, SSO, Conditional Access, and endpoint management
- Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, automation, and scripting
- Strong PowerShell skills; Bash and/or Python experience preferred
- Experience with Power Apps and Logic Apps
- Familiarity with Defender, Purview, enterprise security, networking, cloud connectivity, and SaaS integrations
- Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM and IT service management practices
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, automate, and support secure enterprise platforms across cloud, SaaS, identity, and endpoint environments
- Support Azure and Microsoft 365 services, cloud landing zones, governance, and legacy infrastructure modernization
- Develop infrastructure-as-code, scripts, and automated workflows for provisioning and lifecycle management
- Administer Entra ID, hybrid identity, SSO, Conditional Access, Intune, Defender, and Purview capabilities
- Monitor platform availability, performance, security, capacity, and operational health; troubleshoot complex issues
- Implement observability, alerting, and operational standards and improve platform reliability
- Evaluate and integrate SaaS platforms and develop Power Apps and Logic Apps workflows
- Apply AI security and governance controls and validate AI-generated code and configurations
- Maintain documentation, procedures, standards, and runbooks and improve self-service and automation
