Platform Engineer (Azure)

Job summary

ClearRoute is seeking a Platform Engineer to join their client's core platform team, focusing on building and operating shared platforms and tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally Azure
• Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform
• Exposure to scripting languages
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of modern application stacks
• Experience monitoring systems and cloud environments
• Ability to guide development teams on DevOps practices

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain shared cloud platforms and services
• Develop reusable infrastructure and automation using Terraform and scripting
• Create CI/CD frameworks using tools such as GitHub Actions and Octopus Deploy
• Enable self-service capabilities for teams
• Support Kubernetes clusters and container platforms
• Implement guardrails and policies for security and compliance
• Maintain monitoring and performance standards
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in workflows
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve tooling and delivery speed
• Support incident triage for security-related tickets
