Job summary
The Platform Engineer develops, operates, and improves a secure, stable, and scalable cloud platform, helping migrate existing infrastructure to Kubernetes on Microsoft Azure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). The role includes infrastructure automation with Terraform and Ansible, CI/CD and GitOps with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD, and observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki. You also resolve incidents, support development teams, and explore AI tools such as GitHub Copilot for platform engineering.

Qualifications
- Relevant experience as a Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or in a similar infrastructure role
- Practical Kubernetes experience, preferably with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Familiarity with container technologies and tools such as Helm and ArgoCD
- Microsoft Azure experience, including networking, Entra ID, and Key Vault
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform and Ansible
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions
- Understanding of GitOps and automated deployments
- Solid Linux fundamentals
- Experience with incident management, troubleshooting, and operational support
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with developers and IT specialists
- Experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar solutions
Responsibilities
- Develop, operate, and optimize cloud and platform infrastructure in Microsoft Azure
- Migrate existing infrastructure to Kubernetes on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Automate infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible
- Configure and manage Azure resources, networks, identities, and secrets
- Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
- Apply GitOps principles to deployments and infrastructure management
- Improve monitoring and observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki
- Investigate and resolve incidents and technical issues
- Support development teams with infrastructure and platform questions
- Explore AI tools for automation and more efficient platform operations
- Share knowledge and guide colleagues in adopting new technologies
