Job summary

The Platform Engineer role is centered on transforming use cases into productive, scalable, and secure solutions within a multidisciplinary environment. Responsibilities include industrializing data solutions using DevOps, DataOps, and MLOps practices, managing technical integrations with services like Databricks Unity Catalog and AWS, and providing expert support for critical platform incidents while ensuring adherence to architectural standards.

Qualifications

• Academic background: Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent technical degree. Master's or specialization in cloud computing, data architectures, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, or software engineering is a plus.
• Professional experience: Recommended minimum of 3 to 5 years in design, deployment, or operation of cloud platforms, IoT networks, data platforms, AI/ML solutions, or critical enterprise applications.
• Required languages: Advanced Spanish and English. Euskera is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Industrialize data, AI, and agent solutions using DevOps, DataOps, and MLOps best practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, and deployment automation.
• Manage technical integration of services: Databricks Unity Catalog, AWS, Git repositories, APIs, databases, identity services, SSO, permissions, and security components.
• Support business teams and providers in production deployment of use cases, ensuring common standards, component reuse, and alignment with architecture.
• Provide expert support for critical platform incidents, cost optimization, performance, availability, monitoring, and environment management.
• Document architecture patterns, deployment guides, best practices, and operational mechanisms to reduce dependency on specific individuals and accelerate onboarding of new developments.
• Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and governed cloud and on-premise architectures for the Data & AI Platform.
