Job summary
A fast-growing enterprise AI platform startup in Berlin seeks a Platform Engineer to build and maintain their platform, focusing on deployment, automation, and secure operations across customer cloud environments.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of software engineering experience with platform or infrastructure responsibilities
- Native-level German or B2 proficiency for customer communications
- Experience deploying and operating an enterprise platform across major cloud providers and OpenShift
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Azure Container Apps, and GitHub Actions
- Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis in production environments
Responsibilities
- Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment
- Deploy and maintain the platform across multiple customer cloud environments
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools
- Monitor and optimize application performance and infrastructure costs
- Ensure security and compliance across cloud environments
- Collaborate with Product Engineers for new feature deployments
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues
- Document deployment processes and maintain runbooks
