Job summary
The Platform Engineer builds and improves the technical foundations that applications and development teams rely on, creating reliable, scalable, and manageable cloud platforms. The role automates infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD, improves deployment processes, and develops reusable platform components while strengthening application availability, performance, and security. The work includes container platforms and collaboration with software and DevOps engineers to make development workflows more efficient.

Qualifications
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering
- Experience building, managing, or improving modern IT platforms
- Familiarity with container technology; Kubernetes or OpenShift experience preferred
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform or Bicep
- Knowledge of CI/CD and automated software deployments
- Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Understanding of the relationships between cloud infrastructure, applications, and development processes
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and system reliability
- Interest in security, scalability, and technical standardization
- Collaborative approach and willingness to share knowledge
- Strong analytical skills and initiative in identifying improvements
Responsibilities
- Build and develop the technical foundations used by applications and development teams
- Create reliable, scalable, and manageable cloud infrastructure
- Develop standardized infrastructure solutions and reusable platform components
- Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD tooling
- Improve deployment processes and application availability, performance, and scalability
- Streamline development processes through standardization and automation
- Identify technical risks and develop solutions to improve system reliability and security
- Collaborate with software engineers, DevOps engineers, and other technical specialists
