Platform Engineer

Job summary

The Platform Engineer implements and operates cloud infrastructure projects, supporting cloud service deployment and management within a product development team. The role automates cloud operations, contributes to CI/CD and application deployments, manages Terraform infrastructure as code, and supports cloud-native architectures, migrations, networking, and security configurations. The work includes GCP services and proofs of concept for new technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 3 years of infrastructure engineering experience
• Knowledge of CI/CD principles and tools
• Bash or Python scripting skills
• Understanding of network security principles
• Familiarity with GCP and cloud services

Responsibilities

• Implement technical designs for cloud infrastructure projects
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and management tasks in cloud environments
• Support cloud-native solution implementation
• Assist with CI/CD processes
• Collaborate on microservices and cloud-native architectures
• Support application deployments and cloud migrations
