Platform Engineer / DevSecOps Engineer

Job summary

Seeking a Platform Engineer / DevSecOps Engineer to support the modernization of the GrantSolutions platform by enhancing cloud engineering, automation, deployment, security, and operational capabilities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD 'PUBLIC TRUST'
• Hands-on experience with AWS services
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Experience implementing and supporting DevSecOps practices
• Experience integrating security controls into pipelines
• Strong experience with containerization technologies
• Experience managing application deployments
• Experience implementing platform observability
• Experience supporting highly available, scalable, and resilient cloud environments
• Experience with Linux administration, shell scripting, and automation
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Responsibilities

• Design, build, automate, secure, and operate AWS cloud platform capabilities
• Implement and maintain modern DevSecOps practices
• Develop, maintain, and improve Infrastructure as Code
• Support cloud-native application delivery patterns
• Partner with software engineering teams to standardize reusable pipeline templates
• Embed security early and continuously across the software delivery lifecycle
• Implement and support observability practices
• Support secure environment management
• Collaborate with solution architects, security teams, vendors, and Federal stakeholders
• Troubleshoot platform, pipeline, deployment, integration, performance, and operational issues
