Platform Engineer, End Point & End User Computing

Job summary

Implements and maintains enterprise client platform solutions, including VDI environments and Microsoft 365 services, while supporting end-user computing infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Work with Information Technologies to meet the needs of end user computing and classroom technologies.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of relevant product offerings and support standards.
• Review IT trouble tickets and service requests; provide recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and communicate user/technical service procedures.
• Create and maintain enterprise technical documentation.
• Participate in development of campus initiatives.
• Develop configuration standards for endpoint and classroom technologies.
• Evaluate vendor proposals for platform technology acquisitions.
• Seek feedback and mentoring to develop technical capabilities.
• Maintain existing enterprise client service platforms.
• Execute project tasks within established timelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Work additional hours as needed.
