The Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München is seeking a Platform Engineer for Enterprise Architecture Management to join their IT Services Division. This role involves working on a university-wide project to implement an EAM platform, including technical sub-project leadership, infrastructure conception, interface development, and platform customization. The position is full-time and project-limited until December 31, 2028.

Qualifications
- Successfully completed scientific university degree (Master or equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field
- Strong interest in digital transformation, IT architecture, and the further development of modern university IT
- Practical experience in the conception, integration, and operation of complex IT systems
- Practical experience in the development of modern interface and frontend solutions
- Proficient in current technologies and development tools, especially in containerization, automation, and web development (e.g., Docker/Kubernetes, Ansible, GitLab, React, Python)
- Ability to quickly and independently familiarize oneself with new technical and professional topics
- Structured and solution-oriented way of working
- Enjoy working in interdisciplinary and cross-university teams
Responsibilities
- Participate in the university-wide project "IT-supported university management through Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM)" in the Digitalverbund Bayern
- Provide technical sub-project leadership for the selection, introduction, and operation of an EAM platform to support strategic IT planning for Bavarian universities
- Conceive and provide the technical infrastructure for the operation of the EAM solution
- Develop and integrate interfaces to asset, CMDB, and IT service management systems
- Customize and further develop the platform, especially for dashboards, reports, and management analyses
- Collaborate with universities, project partners, and service providers for technical implementation
