Platform Engineer

Job summary

HBX Group is seeking a Platform Engineer to join their Infrastructure Team, focusing on the Car Rental Platform. The role involves managing AWS infrastructure, developing Terraform codebases, and collaborating with development teams to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, SRE, or DevOps roles.
• Solid hands-on experience with AWS services.
• Working proficiency with Terraform.
• Experience operating Kubernetes clusters in production.
• Comfortable with relational databases.
• Knowledge of the complete stack.
• Scripting ability for automation and tooling.
• Strong communication skills.
• Capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate and improve AWS infrastructure across multiple environments.
• Develop and maintain Terraform codebases.
• Administer and evolve EKS clusters.
• Manage relational database services.
• Maintain and extend observability infrastructure.
• Participate in on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with development teams on infrastructure needs.
• Automate operational tasks through scripting and CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to security posture.
• Plan and design responses to failure scenarios.
