Job summary
The Senior Platform Engineer provides technical authority for designing, implementing, and operating enterprise datacentre and hybrid cloud platforms. The role leads HCI and VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM virtualisation solutions; develops Azure architectures; and delivers infrastructure automation with Terraform, Bicep, and Ansible. It also supports Kubernetes and AKS environments, produces technical designs, and guides infrastructure transformation through technical leadership and governance.

Qualifications
- Experience with HCI.
- Knowledge of VMware vSphere and vSAN.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Knowledge of KVM and Linux virtualisation.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud.
- Knowledge of Azure Arc and Azure Local.
- Knowledge of software-defined networking.
- Knowledge of compute, storage, SAN, and NAS technologies.
- Experience with PowerShell, Python, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with Terraform, Bicep, and Ansible.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, AKS, and container technologies.
- Knowledge of infrastructure security and Zero Trust principles.
- Knowledge of datacentre design and hosting environments.
- Technical architecture and design governance capability.
Responsibilities
