Job summary
Platform Engineer II optimizes deployment processes, maintains stable cloud infrastructure, and advances DevOps practices across distributed environments. The role improves CI/CD pipelines, orchestrates applications with Kubernetes, automates infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, and manages AWS, Azure, or GCP platforms. It also builds monitoring and alerting systems, automates tasks with Bash or Python, and supports secure, cost-aware infrastructure operations.

Qualifications
- More than five years of experience with cloud environments and distributed architectures
- Strong Infrastructure as Code knowledge and demonstrated experience implementing automated solutions, primarily with Terraform
- Experience designing, deploying, and optimizing applications on Kubernetes and Docker
- Proficiency designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
- Experience with monitoring and alerting systems such as Prometheus or Grafana
- Bash, Python, or other scripting experience for task automation
- Autonomy, problem-solving ability, collaboration, and team support skills
Responsibilities
- Design and improve CI/CD pipelines to increase delivery speed and security
- Configure Kubernetes application orchestration, including autoscaling, ingress, service mesh, and application health
- Automate cloud resource and infrastructure provisioning with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform
- Manage and optimize AWS, Azure, or GCP infrastructure for availability and performance
- Automate complex tasks and build internal tools with Bash or Python
- Design and implement infrastructure monitoring and alerting
- Promote Everything-as-Code practices across team processes
- Manage centralized and secure application and service configuration
- Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines
- Apply FinOps principles to optimize cloud costs
