Platform Engineer II

Job summary

Lead design, automation, and maintenance of scalable and secure infrastructure systems.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering.
• Experience in designing or contributing to an Internal Developer Platform.
• Strong skills in Shell scripting and programming (Python or Java).
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Kubernetes, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Strong AI skills.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools and logging solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
• Understanding of infrastructure and application security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Build an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) for self-service capabilities.
• Design automated infrastructure using Shell scripting, Python, and Ansible.
• Build agentic AI workflows.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and deploy containerized applications.
• Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Ensure infrastructure security best practices.
• Collaborate with developers to improve onboarding and workflows.
