Job summary

The Platform Engineer role focuses on developing and maintaining a modern platform landscape using Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud technologies. Qualifications

• Completed a natural science or technical degree or comparable IT training.
• Several years of experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or System Engineer.
• Proficient in Terraform and Ansible.
• Familiar with Kubernetes, Docker, and modern platform architectures.
• Team-oriented, solution-focused, and eager to shape modern cloud tools and established enterprise solutions.
• Willingness to continuously develop technologically and explore new topics.

Responsibilities

• Develop modern platform landscape using Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud technologies.
• Automate infrastructure and deployments with Terraform and Ansible.
• Support development teams in operating applications efficiently and scalably.
• Manage central platform services, including installation, configuration, and lifecycle.
• Enhance automation for databases (PostgreSQL, DB2), middleware (IBM MQ, Kafka), and observability tools (Instana, Grafana).
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies and automation opportunities.
