Seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to design and implement a self-service data streaming platform based on Apache Kafka.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in Platform Engineering or DevOps focused on platforms.
• Mastery of distributed architectures and infrastructure automation.
• Experience in developing technical platforms for multiple teams.
• Experience with Kafka is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain a robust Kafka platform.
• Automate deployment and administration using Infrastructure as Code and GitOps.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
• Develop self-service mechanisms for teams to manage Kafka resources.
• Ensure operation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the platform.
• Deploy monitoring, tracing, and observability tools.
• Write technical documentation and user guides.
• Support development teams in using the platform and promote best practices.
• Contribute to the evolution of the Data Platform.
