Platform Engineer (Kubernetes)

Job summary

Build platform features and infrastructure systems that simplify production Kubernetes operations for demanding AI workloads and support reliable multi-cluster environments. Develop Go-based Kubernetes operators and controllers, GitOps workflows with ArgoCD, and cluster provisioning patterns using Terraform and Helm. The work also includes distributed storage with Ceph or WEKA, observability with Prometheus and Grafana, container networking with Cilium, and federated Kubernetes architectures.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of software development experience; around 5 years preferred.
• Hands-on Go experience in Kubernetes environments, including production-scale cluster management.
• Experience with distributed storage such as Ceph or WEKA and federated multi-cluster Kubernetes architectures.
• Experience with GitOps and ArgoCD, and infrastructure as code using Terraform, Helm, or comparable tools.
• Familiarity with container networking, CNI plugins, service meshes, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Experience with cloud Kubernetes offerings, bare-metal infrastructure, or GPU workloads is useful.
• Automation experience and contributions to Kubernetes or other open-source infrastructure projects are valued.

Responsibilities

• Build Go platform features, including custom Kubernetes operators and controllers.

• Create Terraform and Helm patterns to provision and manage clusters.
• Develop distributed storage systems using Ceph and WEKA.
• Build Prometheus and Grafana observability systems for cluster health and performance.
• Optimize container networking with Cilium and related technologies.
• Design federated Kubernetes architectures for multi-cluster management.
• Automate recurring infrastructure work and reduce operational overhead.
