Platform Engineer Kubernetes / On-Prem Cloud (m/w/d)

Job summary

Responsible for the operation and improvement of a Kubernetes-based on-premise platform and deployment tools. This includes building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, Helm Charts, and deployment automations, ensuring platform reliability, security, and monitoring, and collaborating with infrastructure, cloud administrators, and software teams for continuous platform improvement.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or comparable qualification with professional experience
• Practical experience with Kubernetes, container platforms, and Linux-based environments
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab), Helm, Docker, and deployment automation
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions and platform security best practices
• Structured work approach and strong teamwork skills
• Good German and English language skills, written and spoken
