Job summary
Lawhive is seeking a Platform Engineer to build and maintain the infrastructure underpinning all of its products. The role involves owning cloud environments, deployment pipelines, security foundations, and observability, working closely with product engineers to ensure fast and reliable shipping. This hands-on position focuses on creating a resilient, scalable platform for a rapidly growing company.

Qualifications
- Deep experience in DevOps, infrastructure, and security in fast-moving startups or scale-ups
- Extensive experience with CI/CD systems and modern cloud deployment patterns (Github Actions, Docker, Terraform, AWS)
- Passion for developer experience and productivity
- Ability to create simple solutions for product engineers to move fast regardless of tech stack
- Knowledge of modern product engineering patterns and practices
- Experience working in product-centric companies
- Familiarity with the Typescript ecosystem, product testing practices, and solid system design fundamentals
- Strong security mindset
- Experience in environments handling sensitive data and systems with strong access controls
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GHA, AWS, ECS, K8s)
- Build and maintain platform infrastructure
- Contribute to system design as the company scales
- Execute security and compliance roadmaps
- Harden software, systems, and data security
- Ensure access controls, audit, and compliance processes are in place
- Own monitoring and alerting systems to inspect services and respond to incidents
- Work with product engineering teams to improve developer experience
