The Platform Engineer role focuses on building and evolving platforms that support cloud and hybrid infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable solutions for business-critical applications. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing cloud platforms, driving automation through Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines, and enhancing platform reliability and security through monitoring and operational best practices.
Qualifications
- Experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or related technology discipline.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud and hybrid environments, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Scripting and automation capability using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Knowledge of operating systems, networking, APIs, databases, and enterprise infrastructure.
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of security principles and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
