Job summary
Manulife is seeking a motivated Platform Engineer to build and deploy scalable, secure cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in cloud computing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Strong understanding of IaaS, PaaS, compute, storage, networking, and analytics.
- Experience with multiple cloud providers.
- Technical expertise in public cloud infrastructure and Containers/Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure.
- Implement cloud solutions aligned with business needs.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Diagnose and resolve cloud infrastructure issues.
- Integrate cloud services into existing workflows.
- Communicate with partners to understand requirements.
- Identify opportunities for infrastructure improvement.
- Provide cost-saving recommendations.
- Offer expertise in cloud platforms and Containers/Kubernetes.
