Platform Engineer (PSS)

Job summary

Flair Airlines is seeking a Platform Engineer (PSS) to support the configuration, integration, reliability, and ongoing development of its Passenger Service System (PSS) and related platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Relevant certifications in systems administration or IT service management
• Minimum of three to five years of experience supporting a Passenger Service System
• Hands-on experience with airline distribution channels
• Experience supporting fares, inventory, and ancillary configuration
• Experience developing and maintaining APIs and integrations
• Experience conducting UAT and supporting production releases

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and support Flair's Passenger Service System (PSS)
• Build and maintain fare classes, booking rules, and inventory controls
• Administer user and role-based access for PSS applications
• Apply and validate PSS platform patches and updates
• Support and troubleshoot integrations with Flair's booking website
• Maintain distribution integrations with GDS, NDC channels, and OTAs
• Support integration of ancillary services and loyalty programs
• Integrate with payment processing and fraud-screening systems
• Develop and troubleshoot industry-standard messaging
• Build and maintain APIs and integration points with Flair systems
• Monitor message flow and data integrity between systems
• Maintain integration documentation
• Monitor PSS platform health and performance
• Act as the technical escalation point for PSS-related incidents
• Participate in major incident response and reviews
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning
• Design and execute test plans for PSS changes
• Manage the technical relationship with the PSS vendor
• Participate in change management processes for PSS changes
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation
