Job summary
The Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to enhance its Platform Engineering capabilities. The role involves designing and delivering automation solutions, ensuring compliance with policies, and collaborating with various teams to improve platform reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in platform or infrastructure engineering within complex environments
- Strong hands-on experience with enterprise configuration management and automation
- Extensive experience developing, maintaining, and supporting Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control, API-driven automation
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux (RHEL) operating systems
- Proficiency in YAML and at least one scripting language
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration management, certificate management, and automation solutions
- Administer and enhance platform engineering technologies
- Ensure solutions use secure, scalable, and compliant engineering practices
- Collaborate with Platform Engineering and partner teams
- Remediate vulnerabilities and operational risks
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Adhere to governance frameworks, operational controls, and processes
- Conduct technical peer reviews
