Job summary
Build, operate, and improve Kubernetes platforms that provide engineering teams with environments to develop, test, and deploy software. The role covers cluster lifecycle management, multi-cluster governance, monitoring, logging, alerting, security, compliance, and troubleshooting, using technologies including vSphere Supervisor (VKS), VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid, Prometheus, Grafana, and Flux or Argo CD. Collaborate with international teams to harmonize platform standards and practices.

Qualifications
- Technical background in IT or engineering.
- Experience managing and optimizing platforms or engineering tools.
- Experience with Linux, preferably RHEL, and Windows.
- Excellent English skills.
- Customer-focused, communicative, and analytical approach.
- Persistent and structured working style.
- Experience with containers, including Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes, is an advantage.
- Experience with Prometheus or Grafana is an advantage.
- Must be eligible to work in the Netherlands.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage Kubernetes clusters based on vSphere Supervisor (VKS).
- Manage cluster lifecycles and multi-cluster governance.
- Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting for platforms and applications.
- Integrate security and compliance standards into platform components.
- Troubleshoot complex platform issues and improve operational excellence.
- Collaborate with international teams to harmonize platforms and processes.
- Contribute to innovation and introduce new technologies.
