Job summary
The Platform Engineer maintains and evolves a cloud platform to improve scalability, reliability, developer experience, and delivery speed for product teams. The role leads platform initiatives, operates high-availability infrastructure across five regions, and guides engineering teams on architecture and production practices. The environment includes distributed AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitOps, CI/CD, SRE, networking, and cloud security.

Qualifications
- Experience designing, building, and operating distributed AWS infrastructure
- Deep knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitOps deployment practices
- Ability to lead initiatives from discovery through delivery
- Experience modernizing legacy systems and simplifying architecture
Responsibilities
- Lead platform initiatives from discovery through production delivery
- Maintain and operate high-availability infrastructure across five regions
- Promote CI/CD, SRE, networking, and cloud security practices
- Advise engineering teams on cloud architecture and platform usage
- Mentor engineers in design, architecture, and operating systems at scale
- Evaluate and adopt tools, frameworks, and architectural patterns to improve developer experience and platform resilience
