Job summary
The Platform Engineer builds, operates, and improves secure, reliable, scalable, and cost-effective Azure cloud capabilities, providing third-line support across infrastructure, platform systems, and IT services. The role delivers self-service platform components and manages Azure servers, VM scale sets, AKS, networks, firewalls, application gateways, and pipelines using infrastructure as code. It also automates operational tasks and works with InfraOps, DevSecOps, and FinOps teams to address vulnerabilities, maintain compliance, and optimize cloud performance and cost.

Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in a third-line Infrastructure, DevOps, or Platform Engineering role
- Ability to design, configure, and maintain Azure web and application hosting platforms
- Experience deploying Azure infrastructure using Terraform or Ansible
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization technologies
- Experience with Azure DevOps multistage YAML pipelines
- Proficiency in PowerShell and Bash
- Knowledge of Azure servers, networks, firewalls, and application gateways
Responsibilities
- Build, operate, and improve secure, reliable, and scalable Azure cloud platforms
- Provide third-line support for cloud infrastructure, platform systems, and IT services
- Deliver automated and self-service platform components
- Deploy and maintain Azure servers and Kubernetes using infrastructure as code
- Manage Azure servers, VM scale sets, AKS, firewalls, pipelines, application gateways, and networks
- Automate tasks and processes using scripts
- Collaborate with InfraOps, DevSecOps, and FinOps to remediate vulnerabilities, maintain compliance, and optimize cloud performance and cost
