Job summary
Seeking a Platform Engineering Manager/Consultant to lead delivery of scalable data and AI platform solutions in London.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in platform/data engineering
- Extensive experience with Databricks
- Strong knowledge of AWS services
- Proven experience using Tableau for visualization
- Ability to manage client relationships
- Track record of leading technical teams
- Understanding of data engineering principles and ETL processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end data and AI platform delivery
- Act as liaison between technical teams and stakeholders
- Drive design and implementation of Databricks platforms
- Guide teams in using AWS services for optimization
- Own integration with Tableau for visualizations
- Support SAP data integration and migration
- Identify and remove technical blockers
- Promote best practices in platform engineering
- Conduct project reviews and updates
- Contribute to solution architecture and documentation
