Job summary

Tango Analytics is seeking a Platform Engineering Manager to lead the development and operation of their AI-native Internal Developer Platform, managing multi-cloud infrastructure and enhancing observability and shared services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering
• 2+ years in engineering management
• Deep hands-on AWS and Azure expertise
• Terraform required
• Proven track record building an IDP
• OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Signoz, or Prometheus/Grafana at scale
• Built and operated multi-team shared service catalogs
• Led structured platform migration and adoption programs
• Kubernetes cluster management
• Strong cross-functional influencing skills

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the Platform roadmap
• Lead cloud modernization against the AWS and Azure Well-Architected Frameworks
• Define golden paths
• Drive OpenTofu/Ansible as source of truth for all infrastructure
• Build and mature CI/CD pipelines
• Own org-wide observability
• Build and operate a self-service shared services catalog
• Own GPU/accelerated compute
• Collaborate on migration program
• Build a self-service developer portal
• Embed secure-by-default guardrails
• Own cloud cost optimization
