Job summary
The Platform Reliability Engineer at Manulife is responsible for maintaining and enhancing Azure Kubernetes Services and ensuring operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- University degree (Computer Science or related subject area preferred) or equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience in Azure Cloud
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service and terraform
- Knowledge of common Kubernetes tools and primitives
- Ability to learn new technologies and stay updated
- Good interpersonal skills and teamwork
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance Azure Kubernetes Services
- Ensure platform process efficiencies
- Assist with ITIL processes
- Identify and resolve platform management issues
- Own customer issues from inception to resolution
- Investigate and resolve client and product/platform issues
- Handle multiple cases involving various technologies
- Deliver product services on a 24/7 basis
