Job Title: Platform Reliability Engineer Location: Ottawa, ON Note: Prior experience in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom is non-negotiable. Position Overview: Seeking an experienced Platform Reliability Engineer with a strong background in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments. The ideal candidate will support platform stability, performance, automation, and reliability across enterprise environments. Responsibilities Design and support platform reliability solutions across BFSI, Public Sector, and Telecom environments. Support modernization initiatives for banking systems, citizen services, OSS/BSS platforms, billing systems, charging platforms, and telecom customer platforms. Build and maintain monitoring, observability, and platform health solutions. Support Kubernetes, cloud-native platforms, and enterprise platform services. Implement automation and reliability engineering practices. Support telecom network services, 5G platforms, and digital infrastructure environments. Conduct performance analysis, capacity planning, and resiliency testing. Collaborate with platform, infrastructure, and development teams. Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards. Support continuous improvement and platform optimization initiatives. Required Qualifications Experience as a Platform Reliability Engineer within BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments. Experience supporting enterprise platforms, OSS/BSS, billing, charging, or customer-facing systems. Strong experience with observability, monitoring, and platform operations. Experience supporting cloud-native and containerized environments. Experience with automation, scripting, and Infrastructure as Code. Understanding of governance, compliance, and security requirements. Experience with Kubernetes and platform engineering concepts. Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
