Job summary
TRA*** is seeking a Principal AI Platform Engineer to architect and build the core of their AI Platform, focusing on creating secure and reliable infrastructure for engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Deep experience building and operating production backend services
- Mastery of 2 or more modern programming languages
- Strong understanding of REST API design and microservices architecture
- Experience with cloud platforms and container orchestration tools
- Experience with large language models and agentic systems
- Grounding in identity and access management
- Familiarity with scripting and automation
- Ability to solve problems in ambiguity
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Architect and build the core of the AI Platform
- Code complex or ambiguous solutions
- Design secure integrations between internal systems and AI agents
- Build telemetry and observability for AI usage
- Partner with engineering teams to create reusable skills
- Establish patterns and guardrails for AI tooling adoption
- Champion best practices in software development and deployment
- Evaluate emerging models and frameworks
