Principal Apps Integration CI/CD & Automation Engineer

Job summary

Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies for streaming and web applications.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux expertise, including containers, scripting, and troubleshooting automation issues.
• Experience designing and leading CI/CD implementations using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.
• Advanced Python scripting skills; additional programming languages are advantageous.
• Experience delivering test automation for web applications using frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium.
• Understanding of testing strategies across unit, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience designing reporting dashboards using tools like Grafana, Kibana, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines.
• Define and deliver automated testing strategies for UI, API, integration and performance testing.
• Develop scalable automation frameworks and Python-based automation solutions.
• Embed testing within CI/CD pipelines to maintain quality gates.
• Create dashboards to track quality metrics and pipeline performance.
• Analyse test and pipeline results to drive quality improvements.
• Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to promote DevOps best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and grow the automation and quality engineering function.
