Job summary

The Principal Client Platform Engineer is tasked with architecting the global endpoint ecosystem, ensuring security, scalability, and compliance across diverse operating systems such as macOS, Windows, and Linux. Responsibilities include standardizing security strategies, evolving deployment pipelines, and leading platform initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical roadmaps with organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in endpoint engineering, systems architecture, or infrastructure engineering.
• Experience managing global fleets of 5,000+ devices.
• Expertise with endpoint management platforms like Jamf Pro and Microsoft Intune.
• Programming skills in Python, Bash, Go, or Ruby focused on automation.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps configuration management.
• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management and Zero Trust architecture.
• Understanding of PKI and certificate lifecycle management.
• Ability to lead technical initiatives and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Standardize global security and management strategy for macOS, Windows, Linux, Android, iOS, and ChromeOS devices.
• Evolve deployment pipeline for automated rollout of patches and OS upgrades.
• Lead endpoint security posture hardening and architect automated remediation workflows.
• Design and scale systems within a hybrid environment.
• Lead complex platform initiatives from architecture to global deployment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical roadmaps with company goals.
• Transform vague technical requirements into scalable engineering solutions.
• Serve as a technical escalation point for architectural failures.
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical system availability.
