Principal Cloud Engineer

Job summary

The Principal Cloud Engineer will lead the design, implementation, and support of cloud-based technologies, primarily in a Microsoft Azure environment, while also managing AWS systems.

Qualifications

• strong understanding of cloud platform services and hands-on experience in managing cloud infrastructure
• experience with network design, configuration and management
• strong understanding of cloud authentication and security principles
• experience with Terraform/Open Tofu and similar infrastructure as code tools
• experience with version control systems such as Git and GitHub
• strong understanding of application monitoring, disaster recovery, backup and availability practices
• familiarity with PowerShell, Bash, and Python for automation scripting
• strong verbal and written communication skills
