Job summary

The Principal Core Infrastructure Engineer focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure for AI and machine learning initiatives. This role involves collaborating with technical teams, optimizing infrastructure for performance and reliability, and implementing automation solutions using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in scripting and automation with Ansible, Terraform, Python, or Kubernetes
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools
• Solid understanding of networking and security principles
• Strong experience with High-Performance Computing/GPU systems

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with OCI Strategic customers in pre/post sales stages
• Take ownership of problems and identify solutions
• Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure for AI/ML workflows
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers on infrastructure requirements
• Implement automation for provisioning and monitoring AI/ML infrastructure
• Optimize infrastructure performance and resource utilization
• Ensure security and compliance standards are met
• Troubleshoot performance and reliability issues
• Stay updated on emerging technologies in AI/ML infrastructure
• Document infrastructure designs and procedures
• Educate customers on Ora*** Cloud value proposition
