Job summary
This Principal DevOps Engineer guides enterprise customers through onboarding and adoption of an industrial AI cloud, translating requirements into architectures and validating solutions through Proofs of Concept. The role integrates and optimizes GPU-based workloads, including LLM deployments and AI/ML pipelines, while supporting Kubernetes environments, automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting. It also coordinates technical teams and promotes reliable, scalable, and secure use of GPU infrastructure and AI toolchains.

Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience designing and delivering IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS systems
- Experience with GPU-based infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes
- Expertise in Python or Bash scripting
- Expertise in Ansible, SaltStack, Terraform, or Helm
- Expertise in Kubernetes CI/CD and repository management
- Experience with Git, GitHub or GitLab, and GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD
- Strong Linux experience
- Experience with Grafana and Prometheus
- English proficiency at B2 level
- German language skills are an advantage
Responsibilities
- Advise customers on GPU infrastructure and platform usage
- Lead customer onboarding and training
- Design and implement Proofs of Concept, including environments, data pipelines, and deployment workflows
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Optimize performance and troubleshoot, fine-tune, and validate solutions
- Coordinate teams across infrastructure, networking, automation, security, and AI services
- Develop automation concepts to improve services and operating models
- Apply reliability, scalability, and security best practices
- Support monitoring, observability, and AI workload capacity planning
