Job summary
Qualis LLC is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to support the Modeling and Simulation Vistas program. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining DevOps solutions while collaborating with development and test teams to enhance software delivery processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of experience; OR a Master’s degree and 3 years of experience; OR a PhD and 1 year of experience
- Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Podman
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience deploying applications in containerized environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jira, GitHub, GitLab, and Jenkins
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux operating systems
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software delivery
- Automate infrastructure deployment and management
- Manage containerization technologies like Docker and Podman
- Collaborate with teams to improve deployment processes
- Integrate automated testing and quality tools into CI/CD
