Principal DevOps Engineer

Job summary

The Principal DevOps Engineer will lead the design, implementation, and support of software delivery workflows and automation frameworks, primarily in a Microsoft Azure environment.

Qualifications

• Strong development background in OpenTofu / Terraform or similar tools
• Strong development background in CI/CD strategies and software, particularly with GitHub Actions
• Strong understanding of cloud platform services with hands-on experience in Azure
• Strong development background with PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Experience leading technical implementations and mentoring engineers
• Experience with version control systems like Git and GitHub
• Experience integrating automated security and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines
• Strong knowledge of application monitoring and log analytics solutions
• Experience with network design and management in Azure
• Familiarity with Ansible
• Understanding of cloud authentication and security principles
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
