Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Linux/AWS Systems Administrator to support classified government contracts. The role involves maintaining multi-user computer systems, ensuring customer satisfaction, and adhering to strict security guidelines.

Qualifications

• Meet U.S. Government 8140 requirements for Linux/Windows Systems Administrator – IAT level II certification
• Experience with AWS/Linux Server Administration in a classified environment
• Experience installing and maintaining resources in an AWS cloud environment
• Experience implementing STIGs on Linux systems
• Current Top Secret level security clearance with SCI access eligibility
• Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Programs

Responsibilities

• Perform as a Principal Computer Systems Analyst -AWS/ Linux in support of classified government contracts
• Exhibit good communication skills and patience with customers
• Establish and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
• Report task statuses in written and oral format
• Support multiple networks with AWS/Linux administration tasks
• Maintain operations of multi-user computer systems
• Assist with internal customer requirements and recommendations
• Ensure system reliability through installation, monitoring, and problem resolution
• Provide backup and recovery services; manage file systems and virus protection
• Test new product releases for compatibility
• Develop and maintain technical documentation
• Adhere to Information Systems security guidelines
• Maintain security audit and logging information
• Isolate issues between software, firmware, and hardware
• Support environments using ticketing systems
• Raise issues requiring senior level attention
• Lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds
• Work after hours and weekends as needed
