The Principal Platform Engineer – ML/Ops role focuses on developing the software ecosystem for implantable cardiac devices, contributing to all phases of the software development process. Key responsibilities include defining technical direction for MLOps capabilities, leading complex projects, and designing scalable solutions using cloud technologies and machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 5 years of experience
• Mastery of MLOps, cloud platform engineering, or related specialty
• Strong knowledge of machine learning model lifecycle and MLOps practices
• Experience with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow
• Experience designing and operating cloud-native software systems
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code
• Strong experience developing software solutions in Python
• Ability to solve complex technical problems independently
• Experience leading technical projects and providing guidance
• Experience troubleshooting production systems and root-cause analysis
• Strong communication and influence skills
