Job summary
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Principal Quality Cloud Engineer to build and deliver end-to-end technical solutions for mission-critical applications. Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or closely related quantitative discipline
- 10-15 years of experience
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Golang, or JavaScript
- Deep expertise in software systems design, development methodologies, and integration across diverse platforms and technologies
- Proficiency in cloud-based security concepts including identity and access management, firewalls, VPN, and in-plane switching systems
- History of innovation with multiple patents or deployed solutions in software design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals, and negotiate options at business unit and executive levels
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and leadership to design and develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for assigned systems or subsystems
- Advise on dealing with high-risk situations
- Identify and evaluate new technology innovations to ensure alignment with technology roadmap and business value
- Create plans for integration and update into architecture
- Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with development guidelines and standards
- Provide tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk
- Mentor others to set an example of software systems design and development innovation and excellence
- Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems
- Develop and implement solutions to complex application problems
- Develop and implement solutions to system administration issues
