Job summary
The Uni*** seeks a Principal Research Infrastructure Engineer & Team Lead to oversee the design, development, and management of research platforms, including high performance computing and cloud services.

Qualifications
- Educated to degree level or equivalent with relevant professional experience
- Demonstrable professional development in demanding roles
- Evidence of literacy and numeracy appropriate to the role
Responsibilities
- Lead renewal, upgrade, and enhancement of BEAR infrastructure and services
- Oversee operation of ARC’s research infrastructure and services
- Line manage and develop a team of Infrastructure Engineers
- Provide technical leadership in design and integration of BEAR services
- Design components of research infrastructure in line with strategy
- Act as lead technologist in research infrastructure
- Build relationships with stakeholders
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies
- Lead complex infrastructure and research technology projects
- Develop technical specifications for infrastructure implementations
