Job summary
Collins Aerospace is seeking a Principal Site Reliability Engineer to manage and enhance AWS hosted infrastructures for commercial customers, ensuring service availability and performance while collaborating with a cross-functional team.
Qualifications
- extensive experience with large-scale cloud systems (AWS preferred)
- flexibility for early team meetings
- software engineering background or coding skills in OO language
- experience managing AWS ECS clusters and SQL databases
- experience with Bash and/or Powershell scripting
- experience with system design consulting and capacity planning for AWS
- experience with Docker and Git
Responsibilities
- own AWS hosted infrastructures for commercial customers
- manage and troubleshoot AWS environments
- deliver using agile patterns
- influence team members on AWS tools
- drive migration of web application to AWS cloud
- support critical service incidents on-call
