The Product Engineer Lead Consultant on the CI/CD Team at Allstate will lead the design and development of self-service tools and automated processes for the software development lifecycle. • 5 or more years of experience managing and supporting CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, GitHub, Artifactory, SonarQube.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Groovy).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain infrastructure and configurations for CI/CD tools with an emphasis on automation and scalability.
• Develop scripts and automation to enhance CI/CD pipelines, including product evaluations and demo environments.
• Define and enforce standards for build artifact management, including automated builds and security/performance reporting.
• Lead onboarding efforts for development teams onto CI/CD tool stacks, ensuring smooth adoption and integration.
• Monitor and resolve issues across deployment layers (hardware, OS, network, application).
• Act as a strategic advisor and advocate for CI/CD and DevOps practices across the organization.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve developer experience and delivery pipelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the team’s technical capabilities.
