Job summary

Bethesda Game Studios is seeking a Senior DevOps Programmer to help architect, build, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure for their games. The role involves providing technical leadership, conducting code reviews, and collaborating with teams to improve processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Previous experience building and architecting distributed applications in a multi-cloud environment
• 5+ years of engineering experience deploying virtual machines, containers, applications, and infrastructure on AWS or Azure
• Responsible for coding and/or reviewing code for most listed skills
• Significant programming experience beyond just scripting
• Expertise in cloud configuration management solutions
• Previous on-call experience with root cause identification and resolution
• Experience in building and maintaining AI/ML platform services in the cloud
• Certified in Basic Security Principles on at least one cloud platform
• Certified in Cloud Account Administration on at least one cloud platform

Responsibilities

• Help architect, build, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure for Bethesda Game Studios games
• Provide technical leadership within the infrastructure team
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members
• Plan, organize, and manage multiple responsibilities to achieve project objectives
• Collaborate with teams to continuously improve processes and tools
• Lead and participate in team or client meetings as necessary
