Job summary
The Public Cloud - Senior Infrastructure Engineer role involves working within a large-scale Google Cloud Platform environment to shape cloud foundations, design and optimize infrastructure, and develop automation.
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP services
- Advanced experience with Terraform and IaC
- Proficiency in automation scripting
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Experience managing environments using GKE
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Design, build and optimise GCP infrastructure
- Deliver Infrastructure-as-Code through Terraform
- Develop automation using Python, Bash or Groovy
- Evolve the CI/CD ecosystem
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Systems, Architecture and Software Engineering teams
- Contribute to engineering quality through code reviews
- Participate in an on-call support rota
