QA Automation Engineer ( H/F)

Job summary

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will define and drive the testing strategy, coordinate testing campaigns, and develop automated tests using various tools. You will also contribute to continuous improvement in QA processes and work within Agile teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing in a regulated sector
• Strong expertise in test automation (Playwright, Tosca, or Selenium)
• Good knowledge of BDD (Cucumber, Gherkin) and test development in Java or Python
• Familiar with JIRA, Xray, Agile/Scrum practices, and traceability management
• Fluent in French and professional English (German appreciated)
• Detail-oriented, analytical, with good interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the testing strategy considering project specifics
• Write, review, and maintain automated test cases ensuring traceability
• Coordinate testing campaigns with stakeholders and teams
• Validate back-end flows via SQL and test REST APIs
• Develop and maintain automated tests using various tools
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and CI pipelines
• Analyze defects, identify root causes, and document results
