QA/Test Automation Engineer

Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a QA/Test Automation Engineer to work with automated test tools and programming languages, particularly Selenium, Behave, and Python.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years' experience in software testing
• Experience in an agile environment
• Experience with Cloud Migration projects, ideally AWS
• Experience in writing feature files (Behave / Cucumber)
• Knowledge of TDD and BDD
• Test automation skills with Selenium and Python
• Experience in agile continuous integration environments
• Familiarity with CI/DevOps Tools like GIT and Jenkins
• Knowledge of various testing types including System, Functional, Integration, Performance, Regression, Unit, Manual, and Automation

Responsibilities

• Work with automated test tools and programming languages, particularly Selenium, Behave, and Python
• Automate both UI and Backend as required
• Manage and grow the automated regression / CI test suite
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings and team retrospectives
• Provide input into Test Strategy and Test Plan documents
• Configure Test Environments and Test Data
• Drive product quality by resolving defects
• Communicate test results and risk assessments to stakeholders
• Demonstrate root cause analysis and issue resolution
